BREAKING: Tinubu Suspends EFCC Chairman Bawa Permanently

To allow for a thorough investigation into the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mr. AbdulRasheed Bawa, CON, has been suspended from his position for an extended period of time by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The decision came after serious charges of misuse of office were made against him, according to a statement from the office of the secretary to the government of the federation (OSGF).

Bawa has been instructed to transfer over control of his office’s operations to the Director of Operations of the Commission, who will manage the office’s operations until the inquiry is over.
