‘YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR YOUR TIME’, DINO MELAYE SAYS TO PETER OBI

Dino Melaye, former lawmaker representing Kogi West Senatorial District, has advised Peter Obi,
the Labour Party presidential candidate, to await his “time” to achieve his presidential ambition.

This appeal was made in a video clip which Melaye shared on his Facebook page on Friday.

He further admonished that, Obi indeed is a befitting candidate,
but the time in which he is rising to actualize his ambition is not right.
Melaye added that Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples
Democratic Party appears to be a better option.

Speaking via his video clip, the firmer lawmaker said, “By God’s grace Peter Obi

has the potential of being president in the nearest future.
I celebrate you and your resolution for a new Nigeria.

While I celebrate you, I want to advise that your time is not now.
You have to wait for your time.”

Dino Melaye also noted that having listened to Peter Obi’s postulations,
arguments, deliveries, and campaigns he can say that 90 percent of the candidates campaigns dwell on reducing
the cost of governance, but the challenges in the country are
way beyond just reducing the cost of governance.

He went on to say that the intellectual sagacity of Peter Obi cannot go unrecognized,
and that someday in the future, there will be a space for him, however he urged that social media
drama be forgotten in the meantime, as what Nigeria needs is a unifier,
who will solve the issues of insecurity and get security Intel from
every security facet of Nigeria’s national life.

“We need a Nigerian that has that capacity to solve the problem of Boko Haram,
bandits, and others because he has intel from all the neighboring
countries and that Nigerian today is Atiku Abubakar,” He said.
