Over the years, depression has been one of the fast killing conditions affecting so many young people like wild fire. It has caused frail health to so many young people around the world. Depression is a medical condition in which a person feels very sad, anxious, unenthusiastic and hopeless about a situation
SYMPTOMS OF DEPRESSION
Being unable to sleep and think well.
It is often caused by; frustration from friends, family and unachieved goals.
Lack of parental care.
Low self esteem
Rejection from peer groups
Too much worry over a situation
Stigmatization
Unmet needs
And many more but there is a sure way out.
HOW TO PREVENT DEPRESSION
The victims should engage in an activity that is time consuming, such as sports to get them busy which will reduce the time they spend on thinking and worrying.
They should hangout with friends and go for entertainment segments so as to be cheered up .
Friends and family should try and figure out one of his greatest need and get them solved. These will reduce worry to a great extent.
They could try meeting a councilor to receive counsel and advice on what to do.
I trust these few points can help eradicate depression or reduce it to a great extent and give the young people sanity and make them enthusiastic.
